Hegseth is bad, Gabbard will be magnitudes of order worse. It is highly unlikely she could pass a real security check. Gabbard will destroy U.S. Intelligence services and alliances completely and utterly. She will be a direct pipeline of information to Putin. Our allies will completely cut off sharing information. Our on the ground networks will dry up as the people in them will disappear or end up "mysteriously" falling out of 6th story windows.

Yesterday Mary Trump called it a "press conference". The quotation marks say it all. It was the lunatic ravings of a man the media will not say has no clothes. That they treated the event as normal confirms your points.

All the Greenland/Canada/Mexico annexation bullshit is just a conman using distraction with one hand while the other one is picking democracy out of your pocket along with your wallet.

This article right here is worth a paid subscription - exactly what I've been thinking/saying but so much more articulate. Every time we turned on CNN yesterday they were breathlessly - LITERALLY BREATHLESSLY - talking so fast they could barely put their words together - about all the stupid shit Trump said. It's sickening. If everybody would STOP talking about that stuff maybe he'd stop this very obvious tactic of distraction. He's LAUGHING at us for falling for it.

I'd agree, if it wasn't for all the "He'll never actually repeal Roe v. Wade, it's settled law and would be political suicide." of times gone by.

Trump has advanced dementia and a compliant House and Senate (for now). He also has Musk, Putin, etc pushing his buttons. There is no telling what he may try to do, and there's no guarantee he won't be given the green light to do it.

The majority of us. Either by voting for him, or not voting at all.

“It wasn’t me.” may be true but does us no good now.

Every day is another day of craziness of Trump, all before he has even taken office- one can only imagine what “Day one” is going to subject us to! It is going to be a very long 4 years for our country, and I will be disgusted and angry with those voters whom are to blame for this each and every day.

I don’t watch Orange Fuckwit spew his nonsensical rhetoric because it’s just a time suck and I can’t get back those minutes. I’d rather read you because it’s entertaining to see reason mixed in with the insanity.

Thanks for this post! It’s pretty much what I’ve been saying for a couple of days. I believe he has very little control of what spurts out of his pie hole mouth, so when some weird idea comes to his “mind” he just blurts it out, and then, because he said it without giving it a moment’s thought, he then feels he must say it a hundred times more to show it’s a real idea. Which of course it never was.

A better idea would be to ignore his claptrap until and if it takes more concrete form. I can’t believe it’ll ever happen, but with the incompetent dumb clucks in his “cabinet” you never know. That one factor may be something to worry about.
