It's been a long time since I've seen it and I want to watch it again. When I was younger, before VCRs, it was available on premium movie channels- cable tv without the cable- and it was on all the time. So I watched it all the time. And yeah...all of those practical stunts!
I caught it on some non-premium cable channel, I think Sundance, which has gone downscale from its artsy roots. Anyway, I happened to see the listing. Like you, I hadn't seen it forever. It was a single isolated incident where one employee instructed her staff to skip houses with trump signs. They fired her without any sort of investigation, and she came out later to say that she was following FEMA protocol to avoid homes where people were openly hostile. This was in response to threats received in the wake of hurricane Helene. and also her personal experience on the ground.
