Dear Trump: Please Keep Humiliating Elon Musk. I Promise It Won't Backfire At All

What could possibly go wrong with attacking the richest man in the world?

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are fighting again. Of course they are. Musk was exiled from the inner circle and all he got as a parting gift was unlimited access to the government’s data to feed into his shitty AI.

But that wasn’t enough for the world’s richest junkie. Musk had been very busy as co-president. That asshole gave himself government contracts worth billions and had placed himself in a position to be a fucking leech on the taxpayer for years while delivering little of value.

But then Republicans started to pass Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” and there were a lot of problems with it.

Oh, not the expansion of a police state. Or gutting healthcare for 17 million people. Or cutting food assistance to millions more. Or taking school lunches away from hungry kids. Or or or…

None of that bothers Musk. Those are problems for the little people. The unimportant people. The NPCs. They don’t matter. Musk doesn’t give a fuck about any of that.

Instead, Musk is outraged OUTRAGED that the bill will cost him money, personally. You see, the bill kills the EV tax credit that makes Teslas more affordable. It also strips money from the planned charging station expansion, making it less likely that people will buy EVs (including Teslas).

Musk tried to make the FAA scrap its air traffic control system upgrade and use Starlink, but that’s all gone now. And Musk had handpicked the next head of NASA to sabotage the agency in favor of SpaceX. That’s not happening.

Those last two weren’t part of the bill. They were little “fuck yous” from Trump and the regime who had grown tired of Musk. But the richest man in the world doesn’t take “No” for an answer, so now he’s raging at Trump and the GOP, threatening to destroy them. Trump, naturally, is responding by threatening to destroy Musk:

"Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far," he [Trump] wrote on social media. "Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!"

"Doge is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. He gets a lot of subsidies," he added.

Trump cannot resist humiliating his enemies. He has to. It’s part of his pathology. Now that Musk has firmly inserted himself into the “enemies” column, Trump will not be able to just ignore him and move on. He will HAVE to hurt Musk, over and over again. Just to show everyone he can.

But how does that work with the world’s richest man, who also happens to be functionally insane?

Musk is deeply entrenched in the TESCREAL movement. A Silicon Valley religion in which billionaires envision themselves as godlike immortal beings roaming the universe.

Yeah, I’m really not making that up or exaggerating in the slightest:

One of the core tenets of the TESCREAL movement is that what happens in the now is not as important as what happens in the future. That the long-term survival of the human race (more specifically, the ultra-rich) justifies literally any action taken now, no matter how immoral or cruel or illegal it may seem by current values.

If this sounds like the perfect rationalization for the ultra-rich to do whatever shitty awful thing they were always going to do, you’re not wrong. But put yourself in the mindset of a Ketamine junkie with unlimited money who now sees Donald Trump as an impediment to his glorious plans to save mankind and live as an immortal god.

What are you going to do? Just angrily tweet about it? Nah. You’re going to Do Something.

But what will that something be? Will Musk actually start a third party? That would be hilarious and something to behold. Not for nothing, the majority of third parties exist to sap support from the left under the guise of “centrism.” The legacy press LOVES third parties and the threat of them because of this

I’m going to go ahead and call it now: They will not support Elon Musk’s “America Party” if he pulls the trigger. The reason is simple. Despite Musk’s claim that it will be a party for the center, it won’t be. Much like RFK Jr. failed to appeal to the left for more than 15 seconds before drawing the MAGA crowd like flies to a pile of vomit and shit, so too will Musk. The America Party will be a techbro libertarian…something. It certainly won’t be centrist and will not attract liberals or progressives. Not real ones, anyway. I expect Matt Taibbi and Glenn Greenwald to sign up on Day One.

That means whatever Musk puts together will be a threat to the GOP, not the Democratic Party. And THAT means the legacy press will react with unrelenting hostility to it. Threats to the Democratic Party are embraced. Threats to the GOP are attacked.

But does Musk have to create an entire new party? Not really. He can create a caucus within the GOP by primarying every Republican who voted for the bill, as he promised to do. He certainly has the money. Just $500 million would buy him a couple of dozen seats in the House. Maybe a Senate seat or two.

Then his “X Caucus” can cripple the regime by blocking any and all legislation. Hell, they could vote with the Democrats every now and then to fuck over the GOP.

Then again, Musk’s candidates don’t even have to win. Musk doesn’t have to “win” in the conventional sense at all. He just has to make Trump and the Republican Party lose.

I really REALLY want Trump to keep spitting in Musk’s eye. I want the Republican Party to treat Musk like dirt. As he pointed out to them previously, Musk will be here long after Trump is gone and if they piss him off enough, he’ll spend years and a lot of money getting his revenge and having the worst people in the world fighting can only be good for the rest of us.

The enemy of my enemy is not my friend but I sure as hell am going to encourage them to fight to the death while I munch on my popcorn.
