Yes, but stupidity/willful ignorance really is not an excuse. If someone died because you couldn’t foresee the consequences of your actions, you wouldn’t be charged with 1st degree murder, but you’d get charged with manslaughter or criminal negligence. I feel like this is a similar situation, particularly because people are ALREADY losing their lives, especially in the case of women dying of sepsis for incomplete miscarriages. Voting has consequences for the entirety of this nation. So no, I will not give the unforgivably stupid a pass, disinformation or not. The inability to think for oneself and not be wholly gobbling up spoon-fed bullshit is pathetic and a danger to everyone.

It's times like this that it might be good to remind people that having backup and emergency plans is a good thing.
